A new batch of Timm pix from Molly

Timm and an unknown girl on the Richard Hellinger dock. This girl and her brother were either friends of Mark (Hellinger) or were staying at the Hellingers while they were in India.

Molly sent these pictures yesterday, saying that she recently ran across a photo album from our Winter Haven years (1970-2, when Timm was 6 to 8 years old). Most of them have the faded look of prints exposed too long to time -- overbright and hazy and somewhat ill-focused, qualities all of both memory and Florida in the early 1970s. These were Timm's favorite years, or so he wrote in "Resignation."

The notes accompanying each photo is from Molly. Thanks, Sis, for a wonderful infusion of memory!

Probably when we went riding for my birthday.

Timm with Missy as well as Monty and Christy.

Remember when Dad bought us those rackets in Winter Haven? I used them off and on for years. They weighed a ton!!
Good old Jetty Park, Cocoa Beach, Florida. ((A favorite beach destination for Mom and who she brought along.))

Timm in the orange tree in our front yard. Missy Sharp(e) is with him, I am not sure who the boy is, either Andrew from next door or maybe Missy's brother, Tommy. I think Tommy was closer in age to Timm.

Timm at same dock ((at the Hellingers, our cousins. Bream like the one Timm is holding up were the usual catch off their dock .))

Trick or Treat! Honest!!

Maybe the first or last day of school? I have a picture with my 5th grade class and I am wearing that dress, circa 1970/71.
